The first christmas tree story A wonderful chunky board book that is quite large I m guessing 25 x 20cm and has the most beautiful soft and fuzzy luminous illustrations I m not sure if they are oil on canvas but they have a distinct style with such lovely colours A scene where some angel children sing in the sky is gorgeous the colours subtly fade around in a rainbow There are some lovely images people walking to the stable in the night lit up by the glow of a star and the baby in the manger surrounded by animals Simple text tells the nativity story This is a beautiful book The First Christmas For Young Children
