Meant to be mine vk I loved this book It had me right from the first page and if I hadn t been busy chasing after my two boys and spending time with my family I think I would have read it cover to cover in one sitting The banter back and forth between Ty and Celia had my laughing SO many times I could easily see this book made into a movie I am pretty happy I own this book because had I not I would have definitely went out and bought it This is a book I will want to re read again even though I know how the story goes Since I just finished the book literally 5 minutes ago and 1 already have plans to re read it 2 put it on my favourites shelf 3 I m tempted to pre order the next book and I NEVER do that I think for those reasons alone that yes this contemporary romance deserves a 5 stars from me Becky Wade has quickly become one of my favourite Christian contemporary romance authors Now they just need to make this into a movie and I ll be set English MEANT TO BE MINE is Ms Wade s third book I ve read her first one didn t care for it skipped her second one and hearing good things about her decided to try this one I do LOVE contemporary romance My very favorite genre to read Okay before we go any further a review is my opinion only I got disturbing messages concerning my review of her first book because I commented about drinking and gambling I was told It is real life Yes and so are a lot of other things Doesn t mean I enjoy it I am a conservative Christian Not exactly a member of the KJV dresses only crowd but close I understand this is real life But it s not what I enjoy reading about So call me a prude Celia did marry Ty before they had sex but it was still very much a one night stand He was drunk She was stupid And they decided to marry because she rolled a seven on the gaming table Seriously Yeah that s a recipe for a lasting marriage My opinion of the story line aside Ms Wade is a very talented writer She has a way with words She is an engaging writer and draws the reader in If you aren t put off by certain issues then you will probably absolutely LOVE Ms Wade s story. Meant to be Mine pdffiller The ending of the book is worth it I want to say but can t without spoilers but the ending is worth it No one is perfect People need the Lord And both Celia and Ty are very flawed people in need of a savior As am I And everyone English With my crazy insane schedule and homeschooling I had no intention of reading this novel right away even though it looked wonderful So I was stunned to find myself than halfway through the novel without realizing I d even started it I have no idea what type of spell this novel cast over me but I finished it in a 5 hour reading stint For me that s extremely rare The story was fun lighthearted at times and very poignant Deep truths about forgiveness linger in the pages and seep into your mind heart I fell in love with Ty the hero of this story A definite MUST READ English Since this isn t a review copy I won it I am not going to go into a ton as I usually would but I would like to say a few thoughts. Meant to be minex lyrics I was really disappointed in this book I was expecting a good Christian romance Clean It wasn t that though at all I know this may sound severe but I am so sick of sex scenes no matter how Christian they are This book was pretty much all about Ty and Celia s physical attraction to each other and all about kissing and when they could be physically together There were crude comments made by both and harmless kisses as they called it but were descriptive make out scenes in my opinion I was also upset about the fact that though this is a Christian book the characters took God s name in vain several times Yes the forgiveness message was a good one but the other stuff really overshadowed that for me I just recently wrote a review on another book that had similar innapropriate content and shared how I was convicted by God about the verse that says Whatever is pure whatever is noblethink on these things and this book didn t seem thus for me I can say I was really bummed because Becky Wade definitey has talent in her writing This book just wasn t for me English

This was really really good I loved the romance the wit the deep stuff and the unique aspect of a married but not so married couple finding their way back to each other Becky Wade always creates such great characters and stories that leave you smiling sighing happily and also pondering about the truths she hits in her books Loved it English I really liked this book When I started to read I was hoping it would go the way it did I love the main characters in this book because the were flawed They made some huge mistakes in there life and God put on their heart to forgive Forgiveness is a hard thing to do when the circumstance is hard to forgive Both characters had to do what was best for the child and it was nice to see them doing so We sometimes forget to do that esp in this day and age I think this book did it right Sexual content replied but none written of A save read for those like me who hate to much sexual content Highly recommend it English Becky Wade is back Not that she really went anywhere on the contrary she s been swimming in the deep end of success ever since her fantastic debut My Stubborn Heart splashed into bookstores in 2012 But I admit her second book Undeniably Yours had a reserved feel for me as if she realized just how big a wave she d caused in the CBA community pool and decided to climb daintily down the steps at the shallow end But Meant to Be Mine is a carefree cannonball off the high dive If anyone is not in love with bull riding and baking and Disney princesses and cowboy boots by the end of this book then I suspect they ve been lobotomized Cause all I can say is if the Texan I once dated had been one hundredth as charming as Ty Porter I d no longer be a spinster English Becky Wade has a true gift with writing dialogue Each page is filled with characters that you fall in love with and truly miss when you finish reading one of her books I finished this book in the wee morning hours and cant help but want to sit back down and re read it I love how Wade is a master at writing quick wit humorous banter between main characters flirty character but it felt fake to me And what he did in Vegas was so unforgivable and heartbreaking it was awful.
