My heart ached for Greg and the hell he went through but rejoiced at the strength and courage it took for him to begin the long road to recovery He had a lot of healing to do he was lost and deeply wounded Enter Crane whose presence provided wisdom and calm and a granddaughter who fired Greg up like nobody s business Georgia was a kind hearted woman but the demands of caring for her grandfather left her overwhelmed and bitchy I understood some of her frustration Crane was a free spirited handful But her true struggle wasn t about keeping up with him it was about her dissatisfaction with the direction her life had taken She and Greg were just what the other needed to take a positive step forward And it totally helped they had some smexy times doing it English When you meet the other half of your HEA why would you argue or fight that Georgia has tasked herself to be her grandfather s caretaker and has made sure that he is her number one priority pushing anything that is good for her out of the way to make sure he is taken care of Her grandfather befriends Greg Rainwater a retired Marine who has left his soul in Afghanistan but has brought back an injury and the PTSD that is associated with his injury These two people would never seem to meet without the help of Georgia s grandfather.
