And true to what they meant to one another There are not enough words to describe my love for these characters In the beginning of the book we see Taryn hard at work in her families restaurant She is missing Errol because he has been back in France filming his cooking show Things seem to be going well for both of them other then having to be away from each other Then Taryn receives some information about Errol that she can t wrap her head around She decides that she needs to see him and she flies to France to be with him When she see s him in his element she becomes discouraged and wonders if a life with him would ever work out When people seem to be trying to get in the way of their happiness it is up to Errol to convince her that what they have been working for will be worth everything they have put into it Can Errol convince Taryn that their love for one another is stronger then anything that the world can throw at them My favorite part of this book was Errol s devotion to Taryn He never wavered even when it felt like there was no way he would be able to convince Taryn of the future he wanted with her He had become the sweet and passionate man that Taryn deserved It was great to see everything unfold for them It was so worth the time spent investing in them They made it so worth the ride Taryn was a special women and I don t think anyone other then Errol was the one for her They were so much a like They had the same drive and commitment When they were together it all made sense I am sad that this series is over but am looking forward to see what Kailin has up her sleeve If you haven t read this series I highly recommend it 150 Hung in there and proceeded to read the ensuing books rounding out this trilogy but unfortunately my complaints from book 1 persisted Plot was jumpy.

So with that here s my take on what I ve read I feel that Errol is the character that has grown the most He went from a womanizing playboy to a devoted man in love I kind of felt bad for him that he was right there in the relationship with Taryn but kept having to prove himself to her She had a jealous streak that would flare up any time another woman was in Errol s vicinity She always got the wrong idea and Errol paid for it I had to remind myself that Taryn was young Her instinct was to walk away rather than talk out what was making her insecure Errol was a saint in my book Only for the fact that he didn t walk away and made a point to get Taryn to open up to him Believe me he wasn t a saint in behavior He was all male.

And issues that speak to the audience I like when the issues are woven in to the story and the way the characters react to their issues seem real The way they deal with them and then learn from them is why I love these books Taryn has a fear of the dark and learns where it stems from so she can deal with that fear Errol has abandonment issues from childhood It stays with him in his relationships and he constantly gets that from Taryn every time she runs out He never runs out on her and I think that speaks volumes I love the parental relationship between Sam and Taryn There is so much built in to the story that if the reader is paying attention they will be rewarded with so much than a steamy read Give it a chance This trilogy will not disappoint 150 Actual Rating 4. author has potential but felt shortcuts throughout this series ultimately had this turn sour for me 150 This wasn t a terrible book But Taryn was very hot and cold Even so than she was in the second book Errol seemed to change so much from the first book to the last and she was just this immature and obnoxious girl who spent her time running away from everything instead of just facing in I had to remember that she was young and because of this she wasn t as experienced with thr world and people But really how many times and in how many ways can one person show they care about you before you believe them Taryn was a badly written character and I spent a great deal of time over the last two books wanting to throttle her I didn t actually like her character until the very last chapter This is one of those series that is really saved because of who the hero is and because you can plainly see that people can and do change Whether it s for themselves or someone else it is possible It s just too bad that our heroine wasn t likeable and relatable 150 I ve followed Errol and Taryn from the beginning This is the last in the Master Chefs trilogy sexy controlled and driven Now Taryn is another story I had to warm up to her She was young and inexperienced when we meet her in the first book She has all the qualities to become a top chef and that is why she was in Paris She met Errol while in Paris He offered her a place to stay and to study under him Yeah both at the Institute and in the bedroom Of course she runs away when her insecurities creep in I would like to say that Taryn grew as a character over the course of the books but it was not the case She did love Errol but that fight or flight issues she had carried all the way through She did finally let Errol set her straight and she had a break through with a childhood memory that finally put to rest her fears Now Taryn s brother Bobby is another character that seems to have endless possibilities for a story He s shown some growth from the time we meet him in book 2 to the scenes in book 3 He is a chef as well or at least attending classes to be he does love the ladies and apparently they like him to He ends up in Paris and that just speaks of possibility Overall this was a great trilogy to read It had characters to love or hate a captivating story line passionate and sexy as hell He is French which makes him all the appealing Taryn Cummings is a culinary student at the Institute She wanted to join the program because of Errol King She is from New York She falls for Errol and he falls for her It is revealed that she is afraid of the dark They have great chemistry and it shows with all of the sexy scenes.
