One Hot knightfall cast Nearly the whole first half of the book is Yves trying to convince Regina to sleep with him That is pretty much all that happens He tries to persuade her and she says no That s it It was repetitive and boring By the time things got interesting I was pretty much done with this so didn t really care any I don t know why he kept pushing it.

I received a copy of One Hot Knight by Christy Gissender In honor of the virtual book tour I was given an ARC to review By the star rating system I give this book 4 stars By Mousehead Tales rating the book got a 4 rating As a fan of paranormal romance and historical romance this book satisfied both hopes I will say that it was light in the supernatural I would have enjoyed about Maeve and Lillith s past I also thought that there was so much emphasis on the collar and then it didn t ever really come into play to break the curse That is very little meh when the rest of the book was SO much fun Clever little things like the name of Regina s shop Puppy Love The way her staff provided an amusing peanut gallery effect to the romance I m personally a die hard cat lover so for any type of dog man Crusader to trot his way into my heart I ll never look at Saint Bernard s the same again Totally aside from all things important to reviewing the book I loved that Yves had brown eyes The way they were described would make anyone who ever doubted the beauty of their own eyes sigh with contentment and pride. What is pdf knight Yves tries to convince the wary Regina into giving him a chance while also trying to explore the world with two legs instead of four The dialogue and byplay is great and there s lots of light hearted humor We get to read the POVs of both mains fairly equally so we know what both are thinking as they try to navigate their budding relationship For example when shopping for clothes Yves wonders if his masculinity is at risk when Regina tries to get him to try on silk pants We also get to see Regina s viewpoint when poor Yves wakes her up to get him some breakfast hint she s not a morning person Aside from the curse the fantasy elements are light so there isn t much of a mythology aside from our own The story boils down to sexy knight tries to win over beautiful hesitant heroine sexual tension rampant and humorous interactions It s a great light hearted read if you re looking for a sexy and fun romance with some paranormal elements While I enjoyed this story and found myself smiling throughout I wish there was a longer ending or an epilogue for better closure I definitely recommend this book to romance fans who like a sexy the less he was able to keep his paws hands off of her. One Hot knightline Once Regina realized she wasn t going insane and that the dog that she had found a few hours earlier in the park did indeed just turn into a HUNKALISCOUS NAKED MAN she had quite a few new problems on her hands Yves needed clothes and food as well as a place to stay Not to mention the fact that he was apparently over 900 years old and needed help to break this curse that had turned him into a dog in the first place Right No problems PLUS he was freaking gorgeous and she was seriously attracted to his human self especially as she gets to know him This story was all the things a good book should be funny and sweet and silly and caring It had a good pace and a few twists that I did not see coming which made it all the interesting I loved the wonder and pleasure we experienced as Yves was able to see the world as a man again I also enjoyed the byplay between Yves and Regina these two seemed like a couple learning to like and love each other not just two people thrown together by fate who were stuck with each other And Christy was as usual spot on with her love scenes making them smexy and HOT with just enough spice to give a girl serious shivers and make me jealous of a book AGAIN.
