I enjoy the series but we need character development on our main characters We learn about the gypsies we meet in this story than we know about Amelie and C line Again we are derailed during the climactic ending while Amelie is dragged into the killer s past In the second story of the series the Captain of the camp is wary of the sisters and since he outranks Jaromir who is a Lieutenant they have an uphill battle to solve this mystery. Witches in horror books Once again the momentum of the climax of the story is thrown off by Amelie giving us a look back in the killer s past to see why he she is responsible and how they are carrying out the dastardly deed. I read the first book awhile back and then got busy Something made me go looking for the second and I m glad I did I like the way the sisters work together I m glad Amalie is growing into her own I like that the secondary characters all have histories.
