It was a lot of fun Glenn Bullion has proved three times before this novel that he could write books that keeps a reader gripped and never wanting to put the book down With this book I think I might have stumbled across how he achieves this His stories have a wonderful balance to them There is a lot of action but it is not non stop There is a lot of character and relationship building but it doesn t get in the way of the rest of the story There is a lot of background and world building going on but again it fits in nicely with everything else Basically these books are so well balanced that you don t get chance to get tired of any one element before something else snags your interest It makes them fun and easy to read. Demonic book names It was fun to see the new team up action going on against this new villain who they need to work together to stop It was the first time I can think of where there has been a single villain to focus our attentions on but he was worthy of the Avengers Team up style action going on Of course the team up lead to other things as well.

It was interesting to see all the characters together and have them working as a team Interactions between them were amusing and entertaining Loved the fact Kevin and Leesa got together which is probably the reason Kevin and Rachel broke up even though I liked her as a character as well but Kevin and Alicia do make a nice pair. Jack as always brings a smile to my face but Kevins development to me was the best part of this book the creation of a new dysfunctional family I can t wait for the next installment to see where these characters go from here of Kevin finding his confidence in himself his power Victoria as always the true glue that keeps this band of supernatural creatures together grounded Id love her to develop as the stories continue Id love to see another supernatural female character in the story good or evil It would be amazing to see Cindy Lees be apart of the action in some way or even become super natural in their own right I guess im just over excited for the next installment English Loved this book Wasn t sure how all the character would mesh after each having their own book.

Demons doorway science fiction fantasy novels A wedding a witch that needs guidance an invulnerable man with anger issues and a new threat with evil intentions Four hundred year old vampire Victoria may finally be in over her head Demons Doorway Damned and Cursed 4 This series just keeps getting better and better I will admit though that Victoria and Jack are my most favorite characters At this point Cindy is my least favorite character but that could change depending on how she is written in future books The main reason this book in the series was so great to me is that all the characters were featured in it I was surprised at the death but I won t spoil it for anyone The wedding was nice and so was the reception Kevin and Alex s sister Alisha getting together was nicely done I also like the way that spells come to Kevin There s no rhyme or reason to how and why they come to him they just do I like that However I have one question The author has had Victoria tell us time and time again that vampires only go into a coma when a stake is put through their heart So when the one character is killed yes a vampire and set on fire we were told that he was not burning So why was he dead and why couldn t Victoria pull the stake out and revive him Unfortunately that little inconsistency kept coming back to me so I would have to go back and reread that part to make sure I didn t read it wrong This is the one reason why I couldn t give this book five stars and had to lower it to 4 stars It s also nice how Keven learned to get from one place to another All in all these books are coming along nicely but could someone please tell me how the vampire died and how he stayed dead and why Thanks to any who reply English Rating 3. Demons Doorway pdf drive 5 starsRe read January 2020 This story still holds up I skipped the 3rd book while re reading this series as I can t stand Jack He is just a huge asshole I have no idea why Victoria calls him a friend I still love Cindy and Alex together Initial review below Finally we get back to Alex and Cindy I think these characters Kevin and their supporting cast of friends family are the reason I keep coming back to this series I can do without Victoria and Jack though Victoria comes across like she is a great friend but she really isn t In this story Alex and Cindy are getting married Victoria wants to bring Kevin and Jack to the wedding Victoria gets a call from Kevin s sister Kristin that she is worried about Kevin and asks Victoria to check up on him Since he is such a powerful supernatural creature Victoria and worried and comes right down Kevin is working at a mall best buy area Victoria is appalled when she finds out that Kevin is selling potions to students to help them remember what they read for upcoming test She gets pissed about him not keeping a low profile He tells her that he didn t tell anyone it is magic they just think it is some kind of energy drink Kevin also doesn t have a girlfriend any She broke up with him when she was in college when she found someone else Not sure how I feel about this yes long distance relationships are tough but he is a freakin witch who saved her life and her parents She now knows about all this supernatural crap that is out there Unless she was trying to get away from this world which is possible I don t know how she will be happy with her normal boyfriend knowing what is out there Victoria takes him to the wedding At the wedding Victoria gets a call from her vampire friend in London that someone dangerous is coming to town and she needs to stop him She takes Kevin away from the wedding reception to help her with this case I have said it before but why the hell is this her job Also why is she bringing Kevin The day before she told him to keep a low profile and not use his magic but now that she needs him it is okay Also he is only 19 years old and supposed to be her friend and yet she has no problem putting him in harm s way Things happen and we find out that a half vampire half witch is in town and trying to open demon portals Things go wrong and Alex needs to leave the wedding reception to go save Kevin Jack shows up at this point The rest of the story is pretty much what you would expect Jack pisses everyone off especially Kevin you know the guy that could possibly cue him Victoria looks at Jack and thinks he is getting better Victoria leads the team to go fight the bad guy I am not as annoyed this time since Alex and his family were in danger so they had no choice but to fight back I do like the relationship between Alicia and Kevin It works because Alicia is already in this world being Alex s sister and friends with Victoria and she is also alone She feels like a 3rd wheel now that her brother and best friend are married I hope the long distance thing doesn t cause a problem because I really like Kevin English In the fourth books all of our heroes are present Alex and Cindy are getting married with Alicia acting as best man AND bridesmaid We have Kevin being dragged by Victoria to attend the wedding since Kevin has been slightly down We also have Jack I ll get to him later because BOY do I love him And as always there s havoc in form of bad guy threatening the world and humanity Oh and lots and lots of body count courtesy of Jack of course. Horror Demons doorways housing Let s see Alex despite him being a demonspawn who can rule over demon I must say that he is probably the most well boring In a sense Oh plus Alex and Cindy call each other baby An endearment I truly dislike gah Alex is nice guy his relationship is very solid him and Cindy has been in each other s life for 19 years Sure he s afraid about losing control but truth be told Cindy and Alicia keep him grounded So I don t really see any improvement about him although I still like him Kevin on the other hand I love He has been feeling down what with his first serious relationship with Rachel gone to dust He s a witch but he is forced to keep a low profile because witches are considered dangerous He s still lack of confidence when having to battle supernatural being In this book Kevin starts to grow up knowing what his true power is Plus he finds a possible love interest in Alicia who already has enough supernatural in her life that she doesn t even blink an eye knowing that Kevin is a witch I love LOVE the interaction between Kevin and Jack it s hilarious I mean Jack teaches him PORN And Jack what can I say he s just one of a kind He s rude he s brutally honest he s DAMN annoying to others but at the same time he s dangerous and he s loyal to boot when it comes to people he truly cares about Tiffany and Victoria I love reading about him and the others especially with Tiffany and Kevin I love that despite him being grouchy over mortal mainly a new romance that I have to admit I saw coming in the last book as soon as I found out a particular witch was single again It was still fun to read about it though and it worked really well for this series. Demons Doorway epublishing What this book left me with was even higher hopes for future novels As much as I have loved his previous novels I have never been a fan of episodic books Once I get my interests hooked in a character I like to read about those characters for many books to come so I hope that this book marks the end of new protagonists for a while and settles in to tell stories about Alex Kevin Jack Victoria I was pleasantly surprised by this book It was good to see Alex Teague back in a sequel as he s really been in the background since Demonspawn but he mixed well with the other characters here and we can see all the characters personal lives are continuing to move forward despite regular supernatural disasters taking place in their lives My only real complaint is in the end we didn t really learn that much about the bad guy they had to fight and while he was nasty he didn t add much to the story except as an obstacle to be got out of the way. Books of demons I would advise readers who haven t read anything by this author before to start with Demonspawn and work their way though this series as this would be a very confusing place to start I think English Again as always never a disappointment this book was another thrilling read The best part was the combination of all the main characters from the previous books but it held together perfectly thanks to Victoria.
