The mating season book narrator L Briers 3 1 2 This is the first book I read by M L Briers I am under the assumption this is the first in the Lycan Romance series I am not sure if the secondary characters were introduced in earlier books from another series because I thought their histories were so in depth I felt I was missing something If they are I would have liked to have read them first I loved the hero Adam Very alpha I liked the premise of the heroine Fay not knowing of her powers and coming into them I wasn t crazy of how she handled finding out Adam was a wolf Not that I wanted her to just say ok and accept it immediately but I felt her actions to be selfish especially to her best friend I usually like a little suspense mixed in with my romances but instead this one dealt with having Fay work out her issues This is the reason I am giving it only 3 1 2 instead of 4 4 1 2 stars I really liked the writing style I thought it was very smart and funny in places and the intimate scenes were very spicy I thought the cover was an interesting choice it being so plain but it actually makes the book stand out against all the other regular covers you see nowadays I am going to give the next one in the series a try and would recommend this one to any shifter romance lovers M.
