Dangerous waters dwx The sister is a drama queen whom the heroine has to placate There is another man who had been corresponding with the heroine and wants to take up where he left off It seems the marriage might be valid and they would need an annulment so the Hero advises the heroine not to encourage the other man as she may not be technically free The heroine is merely resentful of the Hero s high handed ness besides she thinks he has a potential other love interest which is why he is eager to dissolve the marriage. Dangerous waters ebook three The story just slowed down from here and there was not nearly enough interaction between the Hero and heroine to show how their feelings developed Knowing the author s penchant for scheming other women I thought she would expound on the sister s wiles but no the sister is very beautiful but not a vamp she is merely a drama queen with regard to her own fianc The hero s OW was barely there and mostly in the mind of the heroine so no angst from that factor either. Dangerous waters an adventure on the titanic Suddenly it turns out their marriage has been invalid all along so they had nothing to worry about The hero seems elated by this while the heroine tries to run away The hero then proposes to her in front of their friends to show his sincerity they it s a few avowals of love on both sides and happy ever after Could have been better Dangerous Waters Rather an unusual tale with a young heroine going out to her elder sister s wedding and encountering problems getting there and relying on the hero to fix things for her The first half of the book where they are making their way to their destination is the best after that all conversations between them are tense and uncomfortable The OW is quite over the top and the hero was clearly quite into her before the heroine came along. Dangerous water sign It s an interesting read and quite memorable Dangerous Waters Quite an interesting tale to begin with at least Set in what was British Malaya now Malaysia A young woman struggles to attend her sister s wedding and is aided by the manager of a rubber plantation They spend 4 or 5 days together in a canoe after a local train was sabotaged by villagers worried about the spread of disease They go through a short marriage ceremony which they believe to be worthless This enables the heroine to travel onwards with the hero When they reach their final destination they consult a solicitor re the wedding certificate and from then on the novel turns into a bit of a bickerfest Dangerous Waters Stuck in the middle of Malaya today known as Malaysia our plucky young heroine finds herself being forced to enter a hasty marriage of convenience to the rugged hero in order to travel lawfully through the country and make it in time for her sister s wedding. Dangerous waters case study scenario Hero and heroine travel by canoe through rivers swamps waterfalls and the jungle even fighting off a hungry crocodile They are both falling in love but afraid to admit it to each other and to themselves. Dangerous waters downloaden Heroine is young and unsure of herself and the situation She also has to deal with an unhinged sister who may or may not jilt her fiance and with an OM who is in hot pursuit Hero is the typical Harlequin Alpha who hides behind a cold cruel cynicism even as his actions show his fierce protectiveness towards the heroine There is a psycho Swedish OW who is a kleptomaniac to boot and steals the ring that hero had given to heroine to seal their fake marriage Just as well imho because a ring shaped like two intertwined snakes is not my ideal of a wedding band and would probably fit the OW to a tee. Dangerous waters leah nash mysteries book 8 The concluding love declaration between the tortured protagonists was rather sweet Hero was desperate to get their fake marriage annulled not because he was itching to get rid of the heroine and marry the OW but because he wanted to court heroine and propose to her properly and make sure they would enter a real marriage based on love not on circumstances As it was the heroine misunderstanding the urgency with which he wants to finish their fake marriage tries to run away leaving him no choice but to run after her and propose for real this time and with multiple avowals of love only minutes after they get confirmation that their paper marriage has been annulled. Dangerous waters christy barritt I thought this one was rather sweet overall Great world building and secondary characters thankfully small dose of OW OM drama and never a single moment of doubt in my mind that these two were besotted with each other and would have a lovely and well deserved HEA Dangerous Waters I read this one a long time ago and keep having a hard time reviewing it and I ve realized because the vast majority of the book is them wrangling and the H being constantly constantly angry It s implied it s sexual frustration but there just isn t any tenderness ever Dangerous Waters
