Book the officer and the traveler summary The main problem was I didn t feel any chemistry between the lead characters beyond their first interaction Everything was stilted and awkward and even with an explanation of why it just didn t work. The officer and the travelerjack Watching Gray and Michaela discover each other and build their confidence not only in the other but also in themselves is a joy Watching Michaela s father allow her to become the adult she is is also nice. The officer and the travelerb bato This is a slightly sultry book with a lot of humor and light elements of suspense It is quite suitable for anyone from older teens to grandparents and people in any age group should be able to find a laugh or two a few minutes of good solid if he didn t do it then who did suspense and a good bit of entertainment English This is the final book in this wonderful series by Rose Gordon and it does not disappoint Gray is an officer very handsome and is thought of as a womanizer but does not know how to really talk to or understand women He is caught kissing Michaela by her father and is forced to ask for Michaela s hand in marriage He does not talk about his past until he shares it with Micheala Gray does not like Michaela s father because of their past history. The officer and the travelers review Michaela is at Fort Gibson to see her sister Ella The Officer and the Southerner with their father She has known Gray for a long time and has always been attracted to him She does not want to marry unless it is for love and she knows Gray does not love her Her father retired General Davis manipulates them into marriage I enjoyed the tension between Gray and Michaela throughout the book The trouble that Gray lands in forces both of them to examine what they are looking for in their relationship I liked the mystery and the subplots the twists and turns The interplay between Michaela and her father added another layer to the story Like all of Ms Gordon s books the characters are endearing and I find myself thinking they would be great family members The Epilogue pulled the series together with the happiness of all three couples following course As always I look forward to reading from Ms Gordon English USA Today Bestselling Author and writer of eight unusually unusual historical romances that have been known to include scarred heroes feisty heroines marriage producing scandals far too much scheming naughty literature and always a sweet happily ever after. The officer and the travelerly book When not escaping to another world via reading or writing a book she spends her time chasing two young boys around the house being hunted by wild animals or sitting on the swing in the backyard where she has to use her arms as shields to deflect projectiles AKA balls water balloons sticks pinecones and anything else one of them picks up to hurl at his brother who just happens to be hiding behind her. Book the officer and the traveler summary This one is by far my favourite in Gordon s Western series Michaela and Grayson were fantastic characters I just wish I hadn t read the book in one sitting Michaela and Grayson have known each other since they were teenagers Michaela had a crush on Grayson although he never returned the feelings When Michaela and her father whom Grayson holds a grudge against travel to make sure her sister Ella is being treated right by her new husband they have quite the reacquaintance Caught in a compromising situations Michaela and Grayson are forced the marry Neither are pleased with the situation and each have their own issues for why the marriage can t work out Both of them will need to willing to talk to the other if they ever have their chance for their happily ever after This one was another winner from Gordon and I loved going back to Fort Worth Out of the books I think that Michaela and Grayson had the most mature relationship and I liked the fact that it was built on something that started when they were teens I could have used detail about how Grayson got his misplaced reputation as a womanizer and I would have liked to see him and Michaela have that discussion. The officer and the travelers book If you ve read other works by Gordon this one will be sure to measure up Readers are treated once again to a lovely sweet romance This style really appeals to me and I always looks forward to the authors new releases And it looks like the new series will be just as good I m hoping for some awkward heroes since I loved the Groom series so much English JerkGray was such a jerk to Michaela He should have left her alone from the beginning if he had no intention to have a marriage based on love I m also than confused if he was with the prostitutes or was he a virgin The story had intrigue to it than the previous two books English HE OFFICER AND THE TRAVELER by Rose Gordon is a historical romance set in Fort Gibson America The third and final in the Fort Gibson Officesr series but can be read as a stand alone See The Officer and the Bostoner and The Officer and the Southerner Another hit for this author I loved this story I think this was my favorite by far of the Fort Gibson Officers series Fast paced and adventure filled Follow Grayson Montgomery and Michaela Davis on their journey to happiness and love Can Michaela forgive Grayson for breaking her young hearts years prior The heart wants what the heart wants even if circumstances don t always bring a happily ever after only Michaela and Grayson can do that Michaela came to be at Fort Gibson because of her sister in a the prior story you see her sister was a mail order bride Michaela and Grayson was caught in a compromising situation they where caught kissing. The officer and the travelers cast 5HEAT RATING MILDREVIEWED BY AprilR Courtesy of My Book Addiction and More English The 2nd book in the Fort Gibson Series ends with an unexpected kiss between Grayson and Michaela that peeked my interest Their story continues as this accidental couple have a hard rode ahead of them with quite a few twist and turns The womanizing Grayson isn t really theladies man we are led to believe from the previous books As Grayson begins to trust Michaela he opens up about his past and soon the reader realizes what a caring and morale man he really is The book also shows the dark side of others as not everyone is who they present to be This book has a complex plot than Books 1 2 and includes serious subject manners I really enjoyed the great Epilogue as this series ends English Okay whoa waitwhat the hell When Soaring Eagle approaches Fort Gibson about rape allegations in regards to his daughter Soft DoveGray responds that she s pregnant Okay I get what the author was going for Soft Dove using rape as a cover for a lover and pregnancy However not sure if this is common knowledge or not buuuutpregnant women can be raped too Yeah I know unbelievable yeah Really thoughwhat kind of dumbass and idiotic logic is that Why in the hell should her rape claim be disregarded even if she is pregnant I liked the interactions between Michaela and Gray I adored Michaela because at first I thought it was going to be secrets being drawn out the reason for their marriage and like the previous book it was going to be lack of communication leading to miscommunication So I am so glad that Michaela confronted him and spoke her mind throughout the book she asked for clarification and questioned him rather than leaving things and allowing both of them to act foolish Gray was being stupid in how he treated her throughout the book and he is so undeserving of her I might have given it a higher rating but there were some editing issues and inconsistencies that bothered me Oh and I just didn t care for the General Rigid subplot and would have preferred the writing be spent on developing a stronger relationship between Michaela and Gray I felt like a lot of his fun personality was sacrificed in this book to give him a tragic backstory and make him vulnerable. Epub the officer and the traveler pdf Also how old is Grayson In the previous book it s mentioned that Jack is twenty five He specifically tells Ella that both Wes and Gray are two years older than him That puts Gray at being twenty seven in this book It s also mentioned that Michaela is twenty four BUT it s mentioned over and over again that Michael and Gray have only a one year difference between them That makes no sense Technically it should be three. The officer and the gentleman Other than that there were quite a few spelling and grammar issues I m not sure if the author has an editor or not but if she doesn t then she needs someone to look over her work If she does she needs someone better There were quite a few sentence fragments I caught and some semi colon misuse There were some repeated errors from the previous book with the possessive and proper names Michaela Davis being use instead of Michaela Davis s and the usage of meddle instead of mettle Oh and I only happened to catch this one near the end they re instead of their English
